Professional experience

Anar Umudov has provided counsel to private organizations for almost  20 years. He has acquired his extensive experience as the head of legal departments of a Azerbaijani leading business companies, such as Veyseloglu Group of Companies (Retail, Production, Wholesale/Distribution, Logistics), Embawood LLC (Furniture manufacturing), Resant Group LLC (Hotels&Restaurants/ Construction). He also worked as a legal counsel at ANS Group of Companies (Broadcast company), Agrointer LLC (Import and sale of agricultural, industrial and construction machinery) and Azerbaijan Teachers' Institute and as a deputy director at Birge Investment Company LLC (Subsidiary of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan). He was admitted to the Azerbaijani Bar Association in 2009.

Doctorate (Ph.D. Candidate): International economic law - Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Master of Science: International law - Baku State University (Graduated with honours), Bachelor of Science: International law - Baku State University

Anar Umudov specializes in the areas of legal regulation of commercial activities, contracts, transport, real estate, labor relations, representation in state and judicial bodies, as well as natural monopoly entities, international trade, commercial and civil disputes.
